Charlie shared the stage with many notable local jazz artists, including: Arturo Sandoval, Ira Sullivan, and Nestor Torres. When he graduated from South Plantation High School, he was the recipient of the top scholarship award from The Gold Coast Jazz Society.

The dinner menu is quite good. They have a lot of nice banquet style Cantonese dishes that I have not encountered elsewhere in San Diego. It all tastes fresh. Prices are reasonable. The restaurant is huge and has a lot of tables and space for private events. Parking lot is also large.

The best dim sum in San Diego! The restaurant is clean, with a wide selection of dishes to choose from. We received excellent service-very attentive and friendly. There are also many other interesting menu options beyond dim sum. Golden Island has become our favorite spot for family and friends to gather. Thank you for always providing such delicious food!

Love this dim sum place. Very traditional and great selections. I went with some friends who spoke mandarin so we got really good service and they were very attentive. Def would come back here.
